It’s time for your hot dog to chill out! This handmade snood-style scarf is made of high tech fabric that becomes cool to the touch when activated with water.
Just pour some water on--at home or on the go from your water bottle--wring out the excess, shake it to activate the cooling evaporative properties, and pull it over your pup's head. The scarf can help your dog stay cool while out and about or cool off. It will stay cool anywhere from 20 minutes to 2 or more hours, depending on the weather and your pup's activity level. When the scarf is no longer cool, you can take it off and rewet/wring it out to reactivate.
Stripe scarves have a primary color with a 2 inch-wide stripe (compared with dual color where both colors are equal width)
NOTE on Heather Blue-Gray and Whiteout: the heather fabric and white fabric are beautiful and super soft BUT it is also thinner and more prone to snagging than our standard fabric. It also does not stay cool quite as long. I don’t recommend this one for hikes; it’s best for short neighborhood walks or post-walk cooldown. This is why it’s priced lower than our other scarves.
Hand washing is recommended. If you machine-wash, use cold water, gentle cycle, and preferably place the scarf in a lingerie bag (or pillow case). Do not put in dryer. The scarves are made of polyester-microfiber.

Good news: we're now accepting returns, but only for sizing issues. Customers are responsible for return shipping; scarves must be unworn and unsed (and never wet). Please still measure your dog's neck size very carefully. Due to our limited stock, chances are if you need to size up or down, the selection will be very limited for exchanges!
All sizing is in inches. Please measure the circumference of your dog's neck like you would for a collar and select that as the size. Add 1-2 inches to the size if your dog has a fluffy coat. When in doubt/in between sizes, if your dog has a medium-long coat, size up; if your dog has a smooth, short coat, size down.
